Looks like striking a ball that either had some sand/dirt on it at the point of contact or was damaged/scuffed in the same spot with a swing that cut across and down on the ball (out to in downward path)

As stated above, the Gen 2 T400's are manufactured in Japan only. I just picked up a set from Tour Spec Golf and, while are enormous like the Gen 1 irons, the feel and sound are much better.
