My round started pretty rough on one and two, so I wasn't expecting much when we got to the tee box at number three. At my home course in Edmond, Oklahoma, the third hole was playing at 156 yards to the pin. I hit an 8 iron that looked right on line, took a short hop and disappeared. I wasn't convinced it was in but my son was, and sure enough, when we drove up there were two balls on the green, and one in the cup! I got to share my first hole with long time golf buddies, my son and brother-in-law, so that made it even better.
