Slideshow: The Old Course on the Eve of an Open

One of the coolest possible weeks in golf is upon us (whether or not the Scottish weather kicks in): The Open Championship is at St. Andrews for the 28th time, 137 years after Tom Kidd became the first Champion Golfer of the Year at the Old Course.

Excited yet?

Team Titleist hit the scene in St. Andrews last week before the crowds (and even most of the players) started to gather at the Home of Golf, and the hallowed grounds were already buzzing.

(Our adrenaline is certainly on overdrive, considering the amount of people we have mistaken for Old Tom Morris.)

Click on the image below to view images of the Old Course on the eve of an Open Championship, and  be sure to check back this week for exclusive, inside-the-ropes content from Team Titleist at the Open.

(Also, don't forget to submit a question for Scott Van Pelt, who will be answering his favorites for Team Titleist members early this week at St. Andrews.)

Great Pictures. Makes one want to jump on a plane and go play some awesome golf. I really enjoyed seeing the course in this quiet peaceful condition.
