Are people using these driving irons as a “strong 4-iron”?
So top of the bag Dr, 3-w, hybrid, u-500, 5-iron?

That is my exact bag. U500 4 iron, T100 5-PW. I had it built 1* weak, so if fits my gaps better. I am not trying to play it "strong". I like it because it is more forgiving and launches higher than the stock 4 iron. It still gives me the proper distance, but with a steeper angle of descent, for easier green holding.

Thanks, I’m thinking about actually taking the jump to a more “souped up” iron and going with the t-200 from my previous ap2/ CB combo bag.

So Dr, 3-w(15 deg), hyb (18 deg), u-500 a degree wk at (21 deg), t-200(5i-48 deg wedge) and a couple of new vokeys at the top, say bent to 51&55. (I’m fairly decent at using the bounce, even off of pretty tight lies, so I’ve found that I didn’t use my 58 or 60s from previous wedge sets.)
It looks a little awkward but I think it ought to cover the gaps fairly well.

I have the 2 iron, which fills the gap between my 3 iron and 3 wood. Great off the tee and the turf.

I don't believe they come with it.
I do use a 3 TMB iron in place of a hybrid and most cases in place of the 3 wood, I will be interested on how I would be able to hit the 500 series to replace the hybrid and 3 wood completely, I find that I have more consistency with the current 3 iron both of the tee and the fairway.
But I won't be able to swing it for a few months anyway, so when I go to the store I just flirt for now.
Most of last year my set up was
    Driver
    3 Wood
    3 TMB
    4 to PW
    48. 52 and 56 wedges.
At times I would take the 3 wood out and add the 59 wedge to the bag if the course could leave me with a lot of short chips and pithces.

The 4 510 took the place of my 21 818, it is easier to hit, both higher and straighter. then 5 - 9 C16 then 46,50,56,60 vokeys. Never been happier with my clubs
