  1. Has anyone utilized a golf cart strap cover to prevent damage to Titleist Bags, does it make a difference? Just curious on your thoughts...I see them periodically around...

    Thanks! Chris

Seen them.. Guess a seatbelt cover would work as well.... Ill bring an extra towel at times!

I think more damage (LOL) is done when youre hitting bumps with the cart!!

Yes, I have used one (actually two, in different colors). They help a lot on a mid staff bag, but I also still use a towel between the back of the bag and the cart to protect that portion of the bag. The strap covers I use are made from neoprene. See them at kelly-line.com. You can get them in solid color or printed with your own message.....or the manufacture's logo: Kel-Pro.

My previous Titleist mid staff bag got beat up by cart straps and chafe against the cart. So before I bought my newest, custom-embroidered Titleist Mid-staff bag, I researched and found the Kel-Pro brand strap covers, which are not only attractive, but have proven to work well too.

One color recommendation: Stay away from using the black sleeve. Sooner or later, you will forget to remove it as it blends in with the cart strap too well. I use red and/or white sleeves, which also stand out against my mostly all-black Titleist mid staff. Hard to miss those sleeves when de-bagging from the cart.
