It is almost here, that time of the year, spring is officially in bloom when Augusta's gates are open for competition. It is easily the most exciting tournament of the year for me. Could take the time off, but I will be working from home Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, so I don't miss a thing, and my wife already know, I couldn't care less about march madness NBA and NHL playoffs, neither the world series or Superbowl, however, the Masters week, is my week, nothing but Augusta next week. I am planning to attend the 2019 final two rounds. How are you guys planning to spend the masters week?

I am going to Wednesday's practice round and par 3 with 3 buddies. Flying home late Thursday morning. Should be on my couch by 3pm to watch the remaining of the first round coverage. Friday, Saturday and Sunday I will be watching from my couch with my wife and our 10 month old son. My wife loves golf and she knows that the Masters is a very special tournament. So no reality TV shows or any other nonsense will be on the TV. Only the beautiful sounds and colors of Augusta National Golf Club!

Will watch it on TV. Will probably miss it on Sunday. Will be flying to Australia on Sunday mid day. Never know they might have it on the airplane or might catch the finals on our layover in LAX. Family vacation on a tour, no golf. Every day planned. Going to New South Whales and Queensland.

Working through Thursday, flying to Atlanta that evening, squeezing in an AM round at Forest Hills and hanging in the 19th hole to watch who qualifies. Tickets for Saturday, then flying back Sunday am to catch the end on TV. Any recommendations on where to head? I'm guessing Amen Corner fills early and most will be planted for the day.

I have my first Golf tournament here in Michigan that Saturday, otherwise I'll be watching all the coverage with the extra channels on Direct TV. I hope its warm that Saturday, but I'll be taping the coverage and watching all night.

I went there in 2014 on Tuesday. I won the ticket lottery for the first time in 16 years. I tell everyone...whatever you think it is----it's better. The food is amazingly cheap, but they more than make up for in in the merchandise tent. I loved every second of it. AT&T had free phones were you could call anyone. I called my wife so she could take a pic of the tv with the words...call from Augusta National Golf Club. It's the small things in life...lol

AGREE, it is better in person. The TV camera's cannot do justice to the beauty of August National. Have been many times but with all the numbers increase of patrons since 1994, I prefer to watch it on the boobtube. Mecca as it appeared in 2009.

  11. I will be getting out the green and yellow and watching it from Home. But retiring this fall and looking forward to many golf tournament trips to check off my bucket list. Augusta and the Masters are at the top. Can’t wait?
